A lovely casino in Villard. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had a great time and there was even a concert.

No physical tables, only machines. Blackjack landed on 21 seventeen times out of 20 games; it must have been a bad run. We only won on one machine. A casino employee came to watch us play, then went to a computer, and suddenly we stopped winning. Anyway, probably just coincidences. Going to Uriage is closer to Grenoble and much better.

Worst casino in the region, and I mean it. To begin with, the service is appalling. Ladies, if you want to work in a casino, politeness and elegance are essential. The cleanliness of the casino is a disgrace; the machine buttons are dirty and greasy. The clientele: in my opinion, there's a special treatment for "regulars." Avoid at all costs!

La jeune femme blonde a l'entrée hier n'était vraiment pas aimable Habillée d'un pantalon noir simple de randonnée j'ai dû retourner me changer chez moi car ma tenue n'était pas correcte. Lorsque je suis revenue j'ai vu qu'elle avait laissé rentrer des femmes en leggings et des hommes en bas de survêtement. Et quand je lui ai fais remarquer qu'elle m'avait refusé l'entrée pour ma tenue alors qu'elle venait de laisser rentrer un homme avec un bas de survêtement elle a m'a répondu froidement que ce bas de survêtement était correct. Je n'ai pu m'empêcher de lui dire qu'il n'était pas plus correct que mon pantalon de randonnée noir tout simple. Si elle avait eu une autre attitude je n'aurais pas laissé ce commentaire mais elle était tellement antipathique et froide que je ne peux m'empêcher de raconter ma mésaventure

One star for the restrooms. The hostess simply wouldn't let us in, claiming we weren't dressed appropriately. There were five of us. As frequent casino patrons, this is the first time we've ever had such an unpleasant experience. Just a reminder, this is Villard-de-Lans in the Isère department (38), not Monaco. In short, avoid this casino. Yvan

Ridiculous. Asked for an ID and shown my non-French driving license. They asked me to come back with a French driving license or my passport. How come the police can accept my driving license but not the casino? Waste of time. The place looked boring anyway so didn't bother to go back. They only run because not many places open at night in the village.
