Thanks so so much to Tom on security for helping me to navigate around inside of this place. It was a bit daunting and so easy to get lost. Even just in the carpark and especially in the lifts as signs weren’t clear for first timers (What’s with the different buttons at the back vs the front in these lifts and it seems you can only get to SolRooftop from the ground floor lift but no signs on other floors saying this!?) All a bit confusing and if it wasn’t for Tom being so friendly and helpful I would’ve just walked out completely underwhelmed. Being there on a random autumn Satdy arvo… The Sports bar was very lively. The District was gearing up for live music. The pokies were surprisingly busy. The tables seemed quiet. The various kitchens in here don’t seem to stop and looks to be available continuously through the day. SolRooftop feels overrated - not many guests, expensive menu with far too many options having chilli, such an awkward vibe up there, messy tables everywhere and no staff (perhaps I arrived during a shift change or something?) I heard there were many other restaurants in here somewhere but didn’t find them when wandering around. Maybe I should have studied their website first to plan my visit rather than randomly popping in 🤷♀️

Took the better half out for a wish list Birthday. She had a ball, had a very good meal and of course gambled the night away. And basically walked out even after hours of fun. I don't promote gambling but when it's a special occasion it doesn't hurt.

Good vibes but not enough tables where to play during busy hours. Unfortunately dealers seem to be too relaxed or didn't receive enough training...poor dealing, often wrong payouts or mistakes with cards and winner/looser. I gotta admit their freebet blackjack has one of the best odds in Australia! Bars and cocktails were okay.

Was denied entry for an item of clothing I have been accepted in with before. Was accepted entry from different people. Also saw people wearing same item of clothing inside. Plus checked dress code and it is no where on there that singlets can’t be worn. Feel free to discriminate let’s just be truthful about why hey guys?

Visited this lovely city for the cricket and I felt a bit peckish while in this establishment. Being with a few friends and seeing them eat some inoffensive meals with no complaints, I decided to order a chicken parmigiana. I don’t say this lightly, this was the most vile meal I’ve ever been served, and I even heard some stray laughs as I saw this obscene creation being walked to my table. If there was even a trace of chicken on that plate of mush I would be shocked, not to mention that pile of “cheese” that was unfortunately the focal point (refer to photos). I must say the staff were very accomodating and understanding as they gave me a full refund, which suggests that maybe this wasn’t the first time their “chefs” have pulled off this tomfoolery. Hats off to the staff, but I recommend some soul searching for whichever chef plated this up and thought it was acceptable, perhaps a bit of pride wouldn’t go astray. We move on. Take care

Pretty small Casino with just a few food options inside. You can make a membership card for free to collect points and join events etc. There is somehow a 100Aud max limit when playing slots.. you cannot put in more than 100. The pay outs for the slots are pretty good apparently for my first visit.

Amazing views from full length windows. Room immaculate, with everything provided you would need for your stay. Very large bathroom, bath so nice and deep. Bed comfortable, and expensive linen noted. Service great, staff very helpful, and friendly
